Mematch is a Tinder-style experience for memes. People swipe humorous posts from real VK communities and, together, form a ranking of the best publics.
My role
I built the VK mini app and the swipe interface, including the leaderboard that turned individual reactions into a public ranking.
The scope
A swipe is cheap; a useful ranking is not. The work had to stay fast in a mini-app host and still credit the communities behind the content.
Outcome
The app shipped as a public VK experience for finding communities through jokes rather than search.
